The material Vespel® SP1 from DuPont has excellent characteristics, specifically for high-temperature applications ( 480° for short periods).

The mechanical characteristics remain at a very high level almost over the entire temperature range. Special mention should be made of its very low coefficent of expansion and the very low tendency to creep.
